The occurrence of some helminth species in birds and mammals from Yugoslavia

The following nematodes were recovered during an expedition to Yugoslavia: Molinostrongylus alatus in Myotis myotis; Strongylacantha glycirrhiza in Rhinolophus ferrumequinum; Syphacia montana in Microtus arvalis; Trichuris muris in M. arvalis; Capillaria longifilla in Sitta europaea caesia; and C. italica in Myotis myotis. The 2 last-named are new host records and all are new records for Yugoslavia. C. italica is briefly described and illustrated.
