Hemodynamic shifts and physical working capacity were studied in 15-35 yr old humans using 2 veloergometric methods: a continuous increase and an intermittent increase in work. When the latter was used, the cardiovascular system functioned with stress, which manifested itself in a smaller increase in the heart rate of the subjects from all the groups (healthy men, men with the hypertonic type of neurocirculatory dystonia, women with the hypertonic type of neurocirculatory dystonia, hypertensive women). The average physical working capacity increased. In addition, lower diastolic arterial pressure was observed in the first 2 groups in the 1st stages of intermittent load.
