The geomorphology of the country is described. A progress report of a reconnaissance soil survey is presented; 2.7 million ha had been completed in 7 years. Seven years of fertilizer trials had also been completed in 7 years. Seven years of fertilizer trials had also been completed from which general fertilizer recommendations are made.[173(541.35)].
