Evidence for the presence of specific receptors for inhibin in human prostate

The presence of specific receptors for inhibin in human prostatic tissue was demonstrated. The maximum binding was attained on incubation at 37.degree. C for 45 min. The binding was saturable and specific, as other hormones like hLH were unable to displace the labeled inhibin.
