A new technique is described to monitor the heart beat of limpets [Cellana radiata radiata] by using a light deponent resistor as the prime component of the experimental set up. It is useful to record the heart beat of frog and opercular movements of barnacles. Any visible rhythmic movements of animals can be tracked and recorded by this method.
