The diagnostic value of CT for uterine tumors was evaluated in 465 patients. In primary diagnosis CT was only helpful in advanced carcinoma of the cervix or endometrium to show extension of malignancy. Lymph node metastases were discovered in depending on localization and size. In recurrent carcinoma CT is a useful method to supplement gynecological examination.
