Formulas were derived from the results of polycardiographic examination of 857 subjects for the proper values of the phases and complex characteristics that mark the phasic structure of the left ventricle systole depending on the heart cycle length and the level of diastolic arterial pressure. Evaluation of the polycardiograms according to these formulas is more precise and results in a fewer number of inadequate phasic shifts as compared with the evaluation of the polycardiograms made by V. L. Karpman's formulas. For practical use, 2 nomograms plotted on the basis of the formulas derived facilitate the rapid determination of the proper values of the phases and complex characteristics.
