Patients (38) with tachysystolic cardiac fibrillation of varying genesis were examined. A new method was described for noninvasive measurement of arterial pressure in cardiac fibrillation by recording Korotkov sounds per unit of time during a gradual decrease in pressure in the blood pressure cuff. It is expedient to determine 2 levels of systolic (maximum and effective) and 2 levels of diastolic (upper and lower limits) arterial pressure. Change from tachyarrhythmia to normoarrhythmia and bradyarrhythmia was accompanied by a decrease in the amplitude of fluctuations in systolic and diastolic arterial pressure and an increase in minimal pulse pressure.
