Numerous small agglomerations of cells corresponding to the pterygopalatine ganglion were detected using Keolle-Friedenwald's thiocholine technique, appropriately adapted. Morphology and topography of cell agglomerations and nerve bundles constituting the structure described as the pterygopalatine plexo-ganglion are discussed.
