Granulomatous diseases which infect the mucous membranes of the head and neck, including histoplasmosis, blastomycosis, paracoccidioidomycosis, rhinocerebral phycomycosis, aspergillosis, sporotrichosis and rhinosporidiosis, are reviewed. Leishmaniasis, onchocerciasis and toxoplasmosis are included in this review which emphasizes diagnosis and treatment.
