Hysterography: a 5-year follow-up in patients with endometrial carcinoma

Hysterography has been extremely useful in evaluating patients with unexplained postmenopausal bleeding and as a guide for placement of intracavitary radiation therapy in the management of endometrial cancer. Concern exists regarding potential dissemination of cancer when using this technique. The 5-yr survival rates are presented for a group of patients in whom this technique was employed in the management of endometrial cancer.
