A retrospective study of the cases of 3850 consecutive patients seen by the optometry section of a medical centre in Birmingham, Alabama, USA, revealed that 74 (1.92%) had fundus scars typical of ocular toxoplasmosis. 2 of these patients had vascular anastomoses and their ocular lesions are described and illustrated.
