A case is reported in a 63-yr-old man, who developed lesions on the arm after lacerating his hand while cleaning a lawn mower blade. Sporothrix schenckii was cultured from one of the skin nodules. Therapy with saturated KI sol. (1 ml in water X3 daily, increasing to 2 ml) was successful.
