A total of 4,729 women receiving estroprogestogen or progestogen therapy and suffering from venous and lymphatic insufficiency took part in a national multicenter study for the purpose of determining the risk factors of venolymphatic disease and the effects of Endotelon (active ingredient: procyanidin oligomers) on the functional symptoms of this disorder. Results confirmed the efficacy of Endotelon administered at 300 mg/24 hours over three months. In addition, high frequency of familial and maternal heredity of this disease was demonstrated.
