The article demonstrates the radiological morphology of choledochocele, a rare form of cystic dilatation on the common bile duct, on the basis of the author's own observations. The article also goes into the aspects of differential diagnosis. Besides the constant filling defect with smooth contours of the duodenum descendens, intravenous cholangiography visualizing the choledochocele filled with contrast medium, presents a radiologically typical image.
