Burn-induced cachexia is accompanied by the development of atrophic gastroenterocolitis with ulcerative erosion and phenomena of focal reconstruction of the glands in the gastrointestinal tract. Multiple modality treatment with the use of contrykal reduces, owing to the specific action of the drug, the intensity of microcirculatory disorders, atrophic and dystrophic lesions of the mucous membrane thereby leading to the reduction of the number of ulcers, erosions and cicatricial lesions in the mucous and submucous membranes.
