Three groups of patients were described with ventricular pre-excitation and frequent tachyarrhythmic attacks. The patients were treated with amiodarone, verapamil and other combined drugs. Amiodarone is a drug of 1st choice in the prevention of arrhythmic attacks in subjects with ventricular pre-excitation in view of its electrophysiological properties and side effects.
