Comparative study of the toxicity and antitumor activity of a DNA-rubomycin complex and free rubomycin

The toxic and antitumor effects of rubomycin and DNA-rubomycin complex were studied comparatively in vitro and in vivo. The complex toxicity was 3-4 times lower than that of rubomycin used alone. The antitumor efficacy of the complex with respect to Ehrlich's carcinoma was 2.5 times higher than that of rubomycin.
