Two cases of tuberculosis of the pancreas were observed. In the first case of tuberculosis of the caput pancreatis with duodenal stenosis the tail of the pancreas was anastomosed to a jejunal loop. The operation was successful since the flow of the secretion (has been reversed and the pancreatic juice reached the intestine. In the second case miliary tuberculosis of the spleen was detected during laparotomy. Specific treament resuited in a complete cure and the patient has remained well for 5 years as yet.
