The diagnosis of tuberculosis of the pancreas should be considered in patients with documented active/past history of tuberculosis who presents with pancreatic mass lesion. Pancreatic tuberculosis presenting as diabetes mellitus is distinctly rare. The presence of ancillary imaging findings of abdominal tuberculosis may provide useful corroborative evidence.
