There were 46 human serum samples, exhibiting a wide range of antistreptolysin titers, tested for the presence of antihyaluronidase (AH) by the standard tube method and the microtiter technique. Murphy's (India Ink) microtiter technique, slightly altered, was employed. This alteration involved the usage of methyl violet in the place of India ink. The microtiter technique was evidently equally sensitive in detecting antihyaluronidase and in making up the same titers as in the standard tube method.
