Brunner's gland hamartomas are rare. Most patients have a vague history, or the lesions are found incidentally at postmortem examination. A few patients develop duodenal obstruction. We report a patient in whom bleeding from a giant Brunner's gland hamartoma caused life-threatening haemorrhage.
