A case of spontaneous healing of traumatic aneurysm occurring after brain tumor removal was reported. A 29 yr old man was admitted with complaints of dementia, gait disturbance and incontinence. A diagnosis of oligodendroglioma in the right cingulate gyrus was made and tumor removal was performed by laser surgery. During vaporizing tumor tissue by laser, there was a vigorous arterial bleeding which was controlled only by packing with spongel on the bleeding site. No aneurysm was seen in the 1st preoperative angiogram. Computed tomography-scan disclosed hydrocephalus and right carotid angiogram revealed fusiform aneurysm originating from the pericallosal artery. This aneurysm was presumed to be traumatic, and was disappeared 8 mo. later.
