The authors report a case of delayed diagnosis of intraperitoneal rupture of the bladder, and describe the wide variety of signs and symptoms observed in these cases. They emphasize the diagnostic value of biological test results, and discuss a case in which cicatrization without sequelae was obtained without operative intervention.
