In 230 cases of patients operated on for hemorrhoids, the immediate postoperative course and final results are explained. A comparison of the Milligan-Morgan's and Parks' hemorrhoidectomy from different aspects, especially strictly defined indication, demonstrates that the Parks' operation shows better findings in both postoperative phase and final results.
