Measurement of human TSI AMP generated in the presence of Ig from normal subjects in the same assay. By this method, sera from 86% of patients with untreated thyrotoxic Graves' disease were positive for TSI. This rapid, sensitive assay for TSI has the potential of being adapted for use in more general clinical laboratories.
