The striae medullares of the 4th ventricle

On 820 human brains the presence and the course of the striae medullares of the 4th ventricle were investigated. The quantity of the various forms was studied. In 40% a symmetrical and in 60% an asymmetrical situation was seen. Different forms (34) were described.
