When examining 2 poultry farms in the south of the Ukraine [USSR] a considerable dissemination on people, eggs environmental objects and air with staphylococci was detected. Studies in biological properties of the isolated staphylococci and their sensitivity to antibiotics made it possible to advance a supposition on a possible reciprocal cross infection with staphylococcal flora of people and chickens.
