EM results revealed 3 types of significant disturbances in functional elements. Ultrastructural shifts were detected in medullar cells; signs of a massive decrease in catecholamines and a corresponding rearrangement of the microcirculatory units, indicating an increase in vascular permeability, were observed. The irreversible alteration of nerve fibers indicated a disturbance in nerve regulation.
