Endovascular therapy was conducted in 46 patients with pulmonary hemorrhages. Methods of temporary and permanent occlusion of the bronchial arteries were used: regional infusion of sclerosing and hemostatic agents; constant obturation of the bronchial arteries with porolon; a temporary block of the bronchial blood flow with the use of the macroaggregate of the human blood serum albumin. Endovascular therapy apparently is an effective method of arresting pulmonary hemorrhage. It is important to have knowledge of the specific features of pulmonary circulation, the nature of the pathological process and the localization of the source of bleeding to choose the method of occlusion of the bronchial arteries.
