The author proposes a scheme of examination of surgical patients with the help of a combination of various methods (clinical, laboratory, roentgen-radiological, functional-pathophysiological, endoscopic, morphological, physical and others) and separate methods in each of the above groups which enables a practical physician to get a comprehensive information facilitating the correct diagnosis. Special attention in the scheme of curative surgical methods is given to pharmacotherapy, enzymo- and inhibitor-therapy, endoscopic methods, punctures, aspirations and other methods.
