Therapy results and clinical course in 91 cases of multiple myeloma with regard to their clinical staging

G, with similar incidence in the 3 stages. The best therapy results were obtained in stage I, with 45.5% remissions vs. 5.5% and 6% in stages II and III, respectively. These last stages showed a higher percentage of clinical improvement. The longest survival in the series corresponded to stage I, with statistically significant differences with stages II and III (P < 0.001). The establishment of the clinical stage in multiple myeloma seems of great interest with regard to the prognosis and the therapeutic approach.
