Although 3+ or 4+ prick test reactions to olive tree or Russian thistle were valid, RAST values to these antigens were significantly lower than those in patients with similar reactions to grass antigens, suggesting that non-immunologic factors are partially responsible for the skin test reactions to tree and weed antigens.
