Determination of teturam and thiuram in biological material

A method is proposed for examination of cadaveric material for teturam and thiuram, including extraction with hexane and chloroform mixture (6:4 ratio), purification of the extracts by TLC identification by reactions with copper sulfate, recrystallization and silver nitrate TLC. Quantitative examination is carried out by the photoelectrocolorimetric method on the basis of the reaction with copper acetate. The sensitivity of the method is 1 mg in 100 g of the object.
