Pieces of human tumors obtained from patients operated on for stomach and colorectal cancers, mesenchymal chondrosarcoma, chondrosarcoma and synovial sarcoma were transplanted to athymic mice. Tumors which developed in these animals were transplanted from mouse to mouse. The initial human tumors were practically identical to corresponding tumors transplanted to athymic mice.
