The results of treatment with this preparation were considered excellent in 26 of 31 cats and 16 of 18 dogs with acute or chronic infestations with Otodectes cynotis. Results were good in the five remaining cats and one dog. Mites in one dog were refractory and one dog had lesions of otitis externa which did not respond to treatment. No adverse effects were observed.
