Lung hydatidosis is reviewed; it is often associated with infection of the liver. The clinical symptoms are minimal at first but later there are complications due to rupture and bronchial infection. Diagnosis is by radiography. Treatment consists of surgical removal of the cyst; the modern tendency is to remove as little lung tissue as possible.
