A 19 yr old XX male is described. Sertoli cells had no Barr bodies, but brightly fluorescent dots resembling Y chromatin were found. This finding is discussed with respect to mosaicism theory in testicular tissue, the Y containing cell line being restricted to Sertoli cells in some XX males.
