Physical data of the passive anterior rhinomanometry (P.A.R.) were studied. The values obtained from 30 normal test subjects made it possible to make a statistical analysis (ANOVA, analysis of variance) of the different variables involved with the P.A.R. By measuring .DELTA.p with successively changing flows, the airstream was determined to be mainly laminar.
