Nineteen piglets of four age groups were dosed with 2 ml of 24-hour broth culture of S. choleraesuis. All three aged ten days resisted infection. Piglets were most susceptible at birth and at 2-3 months of age. Those aged 3 weeks and 6 months were rather less susceptible.
