Another kind of bird fancier's lung disease, due to pheasants, was suggested by the clinical observation that the patient was worse when around the pheasants and better when away and by a positive aerosol challenge test with pheasant droppings in addition to positive reactions to immunodiffusion tests with pheasant-dropping extract. Results of skin testing were not reliable.
