The authors introduce the concept of covering myoplasty in the treatment of infected cutaneous vascular prosthesis, either in the inguinal region or in the abdominal portion of an axillo-femoral graft. After describing their technique, they briefly review the main procedures described up to the present time and the potential role of myoplasty.
