An abattoir survey of helminths in cattle in Swaziland

In an abattoir survey involving 5886 bovine carcasses the incidence of helminths [Cysticercus bovis, Oesophagostomum radiatum, Fasciola spp., Cordophilus saggitus, hydatid cysts] which are responsible for condemnation of meat was determined. The prevalence of helminths according to the origin of carcasses is summarized and discussed.
