A case of hemiplegia and myocarditis following scorpion sting in India is reported. The relevant literature on the subject is reviewed and discussed in the light of this case. This is perhaps the fourth case of hemiplegia following scorpion sting noted in the available literature. The combination of myocarditis and hemiplegia complicating scorpion sting is reported for the first time.
