No statistically significant difference (according to Student, t < 2; P < 95%) was found in the evaluation of the average sizes of ulcers and the width of the marginal infiltrate as indices of the acuteness of the course of leishmaniasis in patients from different types of zoonotic cutaneous leishmaniasis foci (according to the foci typization scheme of P.A. Petrishcheva). The sizes of ulcers on the trunk were slightly larger than those of the ulcers on the extremities. These data agree with those of P.V. Kozhevnikov (1947).
