In 22 cases of sterility, the pendulum testes syndrome occurred. Clinical features included testes that are often small and soft and normally found in the lower part of the scrotum, but with a tendency to ride up toward the inguinal canal. Attempts to bring the testes down manually into the scrotum are generally unsuccessful. Cytologically there is often very poor sperm formation, and histologically, tubule pathology is found.
