The present study was undertaken to obtain an overall picture of the hormonal changes and their correlation with the responses of peripheral target organs during the menstrual cycle of healthy Finnish women. The concentration of luteinizing hormone curve was biphasic in every case. The correlation between hormonal changes and KPI was fairly poor. Secretory endometrium was seen in every biopsy specimen.
