The Author evaluates a contact laxative, (4,4'diacetoxy-diphe-nyl) -(pyridyl-2) -methane, in cases of atonic or dyschesic consti-pation and concludes that the drug is adequate for the treatment of these cases due to the small percentage of side effects, the ease of administration and the speed of action.
