Two methods of estimation of free isoniazid levels in the serum, a microbiological [Mycobacterium tuberculosis] method and a new chemical method, are described. The results were compared and showed similar levels. One of the advantages of the 2nd method is that it is faster; it is applicable to all the biological samples, even for isoniazid toxicity.
