Simplified capillary pedoscope design for microbiological research

The simplified capillary pedoscope does not require special glass parts and has a larger working area (23 .times. 23 mm in comparison with 50 .mu.m diameter of more conventional capillaries). The pedoscope can be used in research on the ecology of soil microorganisms and in the detection of new forms of microorganisms which cannot be isolated on nutrient media.
